Seege Vega

Director - Screenwriter - Award Winning Noir Novelist

Seege is a Las Vegas based writer, director, and novelist. She is also an award winning costume designer. 

 Vega attended college at the University of Nevada, Reno with a music and musical theatre scholarships. There she worked under the tutelage Dr. Jim Bernadi and Dr. Bob Dillard on such projects as Into the Woods, Camino Real, and Angels in America.  The latter for which she created the Angel special effects make-up. 

After college Seege returned home to Las Vegas and immediately began working in the theatre community. Favorite venues she has worked with are Las Vegas Little Theatre, Super Summer Theatre, and A Touch of Mystery. She has also directed in Palm Springs and Reno. In May 2016, Vega was chosen as one of 40 directors from all over the world to attend the Directors Lab West at the Pasadena Playhouse in Southern California. 

In addition to her directing and screenwriting work, Vega is a multi-published novelist and freelance journalist. Her novels reflect her love affair of the 1940s and Noir era. The first of her Dieselpunk Noir novels set in an alternate universe Las Vegas will be available in November 2017.
